Kalli Marie Bogard

Kimberly’s Daughter, Child & Adolescent Advocate

Kalli is 20 years old and has been affected by the journey of her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis since the young age of 6. It is Kalli’s purpose, and hope, to make a difference in the lives of other children, adolescents, and young women who have been touched by a cancer diagnosis. She aims to educate, inspire, and empower others by sharing her powerful story as a child/adolescent affected by cancer.

Kalli has been featured in numerous media, print articles, and patient videos. In addition, she has spoken to several audiences nationwide, sharing her personal story as a “Child & Adolescent Advocate” who has been faced with a parent undergoing cancer treatment. Kalli also wrote the forward to her mother’s book, “STRONG[ER+] Becoming My Own Best Advocate & Discovering My Purpose.”

Currently, Kalli is a junior at University of Missouri in Columbia, working towards her degree in business administration with a potential law degree in her future. She is an active member of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, as well as her business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Kalli has been on the Dean’s List each semester since beginning her freshman year.

Kalli’s valuable insight serves as a voice of the most critical unspoken topic we must address in a powerful way - supporting other children and adolescents dealing with this horrific disease.
